Solaiman Shukhon was born on February 20, 1980, in Jessore Cantonment, Jessore, Bangladesh to Abdul Wadud and Samsun Nahar Khandakar.

His father Abdul Wadud was a Sainik in Bangladesh army where the mother Samsun Nahar Khandakar was a school teacher. He has two sisters- Shoheli Parvin and Chameli Parvin and two brothers- Khandakar Rayhan and Osman Imon.

Shukhon started schooling at Jalalabad Cantonment Public School in Sylhet.
